Description

A clean, sleek, slightly asymmetrical design with modern lines comes to clean tapered point before it dips into a teardrop-shaped indent on the crown.

Each one of our straw hats is hand-blocked here in our New York City studio with 100% Toquilla Straw handwoven by artisans in Ecuador. Every hat is sustainably handmade and follows a sleek style with a soft slope in the brim that is sturdy yet flexible. Each of our straw hats has a UPF 40+ rating.

This hat features a soft black color with a black feather ribbon trim. It has a crown height of about 5 inches with an indent of approximately 1 inch. The brim measures around 4 inches and includes a wire reinforcer for added shape and durability.

Every hat comes with an Adjustable Sweatband inside the hat crown so that you're able to perfectly size your hat to your exact head shape and size. For this reason, we recommend sizing up if you're in between sizes.

All Heads Of State hats are handmade-to-order and will ship in approximately 10-15 business days.

How To Measure:

01.Grab a soft, fabric measuring tape. If you do not have a measuring tape, you can easily use a long piece of string.

02.Start by placing your measuring tape or string on the furthest part of the back of your head. You can reference the sizing guides below based on the type of fit you'd like.

03.Bring the measuring tape around to the front of your head at ¼ inch above your ears and around to the center of your forehead.

04.Make sure the measuring tape is not loose or too tight. You want your hat to fit comfortably. Reference the final measurements (in inches) to our sizing guide. If you are in-between sizes, be sure to size up.

City Style - Put tape measure around the head starting on the forehead above the eyebrows.

Western Style - Put tape measure starting at the hairline and wrapping around the bottom of the head.

X-Small - 21 inches
Small - 21.5 inches
Medium - 22 inches
Large - 22.5 inches
X-Large - 23 inches
XX-Large - 24 inches

Not all of our hat styles are available in size XS but don't worry, all size S can be easily sized down to XS using the Adjustable Sweatband in every hat.

If you find your head is in-between sizes, we recommend going up a size.
