Sizes correspond to your fitted T-shirt size. Measure above bust around torso. This is not your bra size.

Size-Chest-Weight

  • X-Small 25-29" 90lbs
  • Small 30-35" 91-125lbs
  • Medium 34-39" 111-170lbs
  • Large 38-42" 150-200lbs
  • X-Large 40-45" 180-222lbs

Carriers have a 2" difference in length between sizes.

A properly fitted carrier will distribute the baby's weight within your center of your gravity. This is where the body naturally distributes the weight of the baby during pregnancy. This is the most comfortable place for your body to carry large amounts of weight for long periods of time. The lowest part of the carrier (with the baby in it) should hang within your ideal fit range. If the carrier hangs below your hip crease, your carrier is too large. If your carrier is too large, you will bump the baby when you are walking and it may put strain on your back.

In addition to this measurement, several factors are taken into consideration when determining size, especially for those measuring on the border between sizes. Please consider the following:

Where are you in your pregnancy or how old is your baby? If you are in the last few weeks of your pregnancy or have a newborn, you may need to drop an inch or so off of your chest measurement to compensate for expected weight loss.

Your height and torso length affects how long the carrier will hang on your torso. Depending on torso length, very tall people may be able to wear a larger size. Very short people may need a smaller size.

Your pre-pregnancy weight: Carriers should be sized to your pre-pregnancy weight and measurements. Carrier size generally corresponds to your normal pre-pregnancy fitted T-shirt size.

Do you have broad or narrow shoulders? If you have broad shoulders, a large chest or bust, you may want a larger size. People with narrow shoulders may want a smaller size.
