The Ritual

Healthy hair is rarely the result of a single product—it’s the result of small, consistent moments of care. This oil can be used in two ways depending on what your hair needs.

Daily Moisture & Scalp Care (Primary Use)

Part hair into sections and apply a small, pea-sized amount along the scalp and through the hair. Gently massage to help nourish the scalp and distribute the oil through the strands.

Use 2–3 times per week to support scalp health, moisture, and stronger hair.

Deep Conditioning Treatment (Enhanced Softening)

For deeper nourishment and extra softness, add 1–2 teaspoons of the oil to your favorite conditioner. Apply to the hair and cover with a plastic cap.

Sit under a bonnet dryer for 15 minutes, or allow the treatment to sit for 30 minutes without heat.

This method helps the hair absorb the oils more deeply, leaving hair softer, easier to detangle, and more manageable.

Tip

Many people also find that using the oil with conditioner helps create a slip that makes detangling easier, allowing the hair to better absorb the conditioning treatment.

This blend began as a personal solution.

After doing the “big chop” in 2010, I suddenly had to relearn how to care for my natural hair. That experience sparked a deeper exploration into plant oils, herbal traditions, and hair care practices from around the world—especially Ayurvedic botanicals known for supporting scalp health and strong hair.

Through years of experimenting and refining, I created a blend that kept my tight coils moisturized, soft, and resilient—even through multiple hair color phases.

What began as a personal ritual eventually became a formula shared with others seeking a more nourishing, plant-centered way to care for their hair.
