Zoe & Me was inspired by the Alkeme founder's journey to motherhood. Diagnosed with cancer at age 34, her best friend, Dr. Micole Tuchman, encouraged her to make embryos as cancer treatment often renders the patient infertile. Having no children, she did that. Fast forward 8 years and after several unsuccessful IVF attempts, she she got pregnant and Zoe was born! Infertility affects 1 out of 10 women in the US. That's alot! So as a team we decided to create this Mommy & Me collection to celebrate motherhood and the bond between mothers and daughters of all ages and donate a portion of all sales to three charities that support infertility.
