salt+blue was founded by Rachel Pachivas and Kevin Gianni after years of searching for sunscreen they could genuinely feel good about using. Inspired by a moment when Rachel saw sunscreen washing off families at a river and into the water, the founders set out to create a better approach to sun care. Building on their experience with Annmarie Skin Care, they created salt+blue with the same belief that people shouldn’t have to choose between products that work and products they trust on their skin. Crafted with mineral-based sun protection and organic and wildcrafted botanicals, salt+blue is committed to caring for skin while protecting the oceans and honoring the natural world.
