What sparked your craft?
When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, we started to look into harmful products in our house. It turns out that laundry soap can be one of the most harmful products, both to us as people and to our environment. We often don't think about how our laundry soap affects our bodies.
It has been proven that what is in different detergents gets absorbed through our skin and right into our bodies. It also never occurred to me to think about what happens to the water used in our wash cycle, which goes right back into the environment and our waterways, lakes, and oceans.
Luke and I set out on a mission to create a clean laundry soap that also smells like no other natural laundry soap. We worked hand in hand with the largest fragrance developer in the U.S.A. to test whether this was possible. After nearly a year of research and development, we finally had a product we knew was clean.
What part of the process matters most?
We make every batch of Bloop by hand in small batches to ensure the best quality control and product on the market. As far as we know, we are the only company in the world trying to provide a natural laundry soap that smells amazing, is eco-friendly, and is truly making a difference for the future. We like to say that we are "gently nudging towards the future".

We are designed to be safe for all skin types and biodegradable. Our scents have removed all toxic ingredients known to be hormone disruptors. Bloop is about cleaning up our health in an easy way.
